The Spring Short Courses in Bemidji and Grand Rapids/McGregor (Big Sandy) are now rescheduled.

Tuesday, April 25, in the McGregor/Grand Rapids Area: Big Sandy Lodge and Resort, 20534 487th St, McGregor, MN 55760.

Wednesday, April 26, in Bemidji: The Sanford Center, 1111 Event Center Drive NE, Bemidji, MN 56601.

TIME:

8:00 AM: Registration opens, light continental breakfast provided

9:00 AM: Speakers/classes begin

12:00 PM: Buffet lunch provided

1:00 PM: Classes resume

3:00 PM: Conclusion

REGISTRATION & COST:

There is no pre-registration - We'll see you there! There is a new rate of $75/attendee, payable on-site or billed afterwards.

AGENDA FOR NEW OFFICERS: Welcome; New Officer Orientation (a must-have class for all officers who have not attended previously). MAT will cover the many legal requirements that come with holding public office; MAT Overview; District Director introduction; Town Officer Duties and Responsibilities.

AGENDA FOR SUPERVISORS: Welcome; Legislative & MAT Update; Broadband Update; Conflicts of Interest; Board of Directors Announcements; Special Meetings; Social Media in Townships; New Developments in the Marketable Title Act & Wage Theft Basics.
